Booth Feeds sells top-quality hay and straw for your livestock needs.
The baled products listed here are also recommended for small animal owners who wish to purchase hay in bulk.
BALED PRODUCTS
COMPRESSED BALES
Long-stem forages, such as those provided in bales of hay, are an important component in the diets of grazing animals. Long-stem forages can be supplemented with hay forages made into cubes and pellets. Such supplementing balances both the animal's diet and the owner's budget. Consult with a veterinarian to determine the forage types that will best meet your animal's nutritional requirements.
ALFALFA HAY
Alfalfa hay forage is a protein source for animals that have high energy requirements. Alfalfa forage is generally low in sugar and is considered a great source of low non-structured carbohydrates.
TIMOTHY HAY
Timothy grass hay forage is one of the most nutritionally consistent hay forages, cutting after cutting. This hay forage produces maintenance levels of energy requirements. Timothy grass hay forage is low in sugar and a wonderful source of low non-structured carbohydrates.
NON-COMPRESSED SQUARE BALES: TIMOTHY HAY
CUBED PRODUCTS
Cubes are produced from hay forages that are grown to specific maturity. The harvesting and storage techniques provide quality products that are highly palatable and nutritional.
Cubes should never be used as a sole source of nutrition, but can be used as a supplement to stem hay and other diets. Cubes should be fed by weight, not volume and animals should be able to drink plenty of fresh, clean water daily. For seniors, animals with dental issues, and horses prone to choking, cubes can be softened by sprinkling them with water.
